PRAESENSA System Controller, Large

The PRA-SCL is the most powerful system controller in the Bosch PRAESENSA range. It manages every system-level function of a PRAESENSA public address and voice alarm installation: it routes all audio between networked sources and zones, plays stored messages and tones, handles background music, business calls and emergency calls according to priority, and collects status and fault information from every device on the network.

The controller connects over OMNEO IP networking and is DC-powered from a PRAESENSA multifunction power supply with battery backup, so it suits both centralised and decentralised system topologies. A built-in 5-port Ethernet switch with RSTP supports redundant loop-through cabling, and configuration is done through the built-in web server from any browser.

For mission-critical sites such as hospitals and government buildings, a second controller can be added for dual redundancy with automatic fail-over. Dante and AES67 audio streams are supported for integration with third-party audio equipment.
