Capabilities

Sixteen disciplines, one accountable team.

Most consultancies subcontract half of this list and manage the seams by email. We do not — which is why the interfaces between systems, the place things actually fail, are somebody’s explicit responsibility.

Mechanical & Environmental

  • Mechanical Engineering Systems

Design review, load calculation and commissioning oversight for plant and distribution.

Pumps, pipework, pressurisation and plantroom layout, assessed against the duty the building actually places on them rather than the duty the original design assumed.

  • Air Conditioning & Ventilation

Chilled water, DX and air distribution — specified for the load and the climate.

Gulf ambient conditions punish systems designed to temperate assumptions. We size, balance and commission for 48°C design days and for the part-load hours where the energy is spent.

  • Kitchen Ventilation Systems

Commercial extract, make-up air and grease management to code.

Canopy sizing, duct velocity, fire damper strategy and the cleaning access that determines whether a system stays compliant after its first year.

  • Laboratory Systems

Fume containment, pressure cascades and controlled environments.

Containment verification, room pressure regimes and the interlocks between ventilation and access control that keep a laboratory certifiable.

  • Swimming Pool & Aquatic Systems

Filtration, dosing, circulation and pool hall environmental control.

Turnover rates, chemical dosing control and the dehumidification strategy that stops a pool hall destroying its own structure.

  • Diesel Power Generation

Standby and prime power sets, from sizing through load-bank acceptance.

Set selection, fuel system design, exhaust and acoustic treatment, changeover logic, and the load-bank testing that proves the installation rather than the datasheet.

  • Engine & Alternator Rebuilding

Overhaul and re-certification of rotating plant.

A rebuild is frequently a third the cost of replacement on a set with a sound block. We assess honestly which of the two you are looking at.

Electrical & Low Voltage

  • Critical Infrastructure Systems

ELV and life-critical systems where downtime is not a commercial inconvenience.

Data centre white space, hospital essential circuits, redundancy topology and the failure modes that only surface during a genuine transfer.

  • Fire & Life Safety Systems

Detection, suppression, and Civil Defence compliance.

Panel and device selection, cause-and-effect matrices, integration with ventilation and access control, and the documentation an authority actually asks to see.

  • CCTV & Access Control

Surveillance, credentialing and integrated site security.

Camera selection against the identification standard required, storage and retention sizing, and the access topology that survives an audit.

  • Public Address & Voice Alarm

PA/VA to EN 54, with intelligibility verified rather than assumed.

Speaker layout, zoning, amplifier redundancy and STI measurement — because a voice alarm that cannot be understood is a compliance exposure, not a system.

  • Building Automation Systems

BMS specification, integration and the graphics your operators will actually use.

Protocol strategy across BACnet and Modbus estates, point schedules written to be commissioned, and control narratives in plain language.

  • Energy Monitoring & Control

Sub-metering and analytics that produce decisions, not dashboards.

Metering hierarchy design, baseline establishment and verified savings — the measurement side of any efficiency claim.

Advisory & Asset

  • Engineering Consultancy

Independent technical judgement — feasibility, design review, expert opinion.

We are frequently engaged to review someone else’s design. That is uncomfortable work and we do it plainly.

  • Facilities & Asset Management

Lifecycle planning, condition surveys and PPM regimes that get followed.

Asset registers built to a hierarchy, criticality ranking, and maintenance schedules written against manufacturer requirement and observed failure rates.

  • Building Inspection & CAFM

Condition surveys and the CAFM implementation that keeps them current.

A survey is a snapshot. We implement the system that keeps it a live record, including data migration from whatever spreadsheet it currently lives in.

How an engagement runs.

Four steps, and a named engineer through all of them.

  1. Establish the constraint

A conversation and, where it matters, a site visit. We are trying to find the binding constraint — which is often not the one the brief names.

  2. Scope and price

A written scope with deliverables, standards and exclusions stated. Fixed price wherever the scope permits it.

  3. Deliver

Survey, design, specification or supervision, with a named engineer and reporting to an agreed cadence. No handoff to a junior after the contract is signed.

  4. Verify and hand over

Witnessed testing against the specification, documentation assembled as the work proceeds, and a handover a maintenance team can actually operate from.

Asked often enough to answer here.

Do you supply equipment as well as advise on it?

Yes. We hold agency and distribution arrangements with the manufacturers listed in our catalogue and supply directly. Where we are engaged purely as an independent reviewer we declare any supply interest in writing before the engagement starts.

Will you review a design produced by another consultant?

Regularly. Independent design review is one of the more common reasons clients engage us. We report on what we find, including when the answer is that the design is sound.

What sizes of project do you take on?

From a single plantroom survey through to multi-building estate programmes. The smallest engagements are typically a condition survey or an expert opinion; the largest run for years.

Which emirates do you work across?

All seven. We are established in Sharjah Publishing City and work routinely across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates.

How quickly can you respond to an enquiry?

Product and pricing enquiries are answered the same working day. A technical scope normally takes two to three days, because we would rather ask questions first than send you a number we cannot stand behind.

Do you provide ongoing maintenance, or only project work?

Both. Many engagements start as a project and continue as a planned maintenance or asset management contract, which is the arrangement we prefer — it is how the system knowledge stays useful.

Not covered here? Ask directly — we would rather answer a specific question than write a longer page.

Tell us what needs to work.

Send the scope, the drawing, or just the problem. An engineer will read it — not a form handler.
