Description
The Inter-M EVA Matrix is the main controller of the EVA networked voice alarm system, certified to EN 54-16. It routes paging, background music and evacuation messages through a 20 x 8 bus matrix and manages up to 1,024 zones, 2,048 speaker lines and 512 alarm zones.
Audio is carried over Dante, so amplifiers and remote microphones can be distributed across the building network, with redundant 10/100/1000 network ports. The controller has eight mic/line inputs with phantom power, eight audio outputs, an emergency push-to-talk microphone, an MP3 player and SD-card message storage.
A 5-inch colour touchscreen on the front panel gives operators clear status and control, and dry-contact inputs and outputs connect the fire alarm panel and other building systems. Redundant controller configurations are supported for critical sites.
