PRAESENSA Ambient Noise Sensor
PoE ambient noise sensor that lets PRAESENSA adjust announcement volume automatically to background noise, with MEMS microphone and DSP. Up to four sensors per zone.
Description
The PRA-ANS measures ambient noise so PRAESENSA can raise or lower announcement volume automatically, keeping messages intelligible in noisy areas without being too loud in quiet ones. It is suited to airports, stations, shopping centres and factories.
An omnidirectional MEMS microphone tracks the noise level and digital signal processing adapts the frequency response. The sensor is PoE powered with a Gigabit network interface, can be surface or flush mounted, and up to four sensors can be combined to cover a large zone.
