SMA 2000 Series Master Clock

The Sapling SMA 2000 Series is the standard master clock for Sapling synchronised clock systems. It takes accurate time from (S)NTP servers as standard and keeps every secondary clock in the building showing exactly the same time, including automatic daylight-saving changes where they apply.

The master clock has a clear LED display and two push buttons for basic programming, with full configuration through a built-in web interface from any computer on the network. Two relays are dedicated to synchronous wired clock systems, and the unit can interface with existing 2-wire, sync-wire and RS-485 clock protocols, which makes it a practical choice when upgrading an older clock system.

Options include a GPS receiver for an independent time reference, a 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz transmitter for Sapling wireless analogue and digital clocks, and an upgrade that lets the master clock act as an (S)NTP server for other IP devices. A ten-year battery backup preserves the time and settings.
